About Tottenham Hotspur

Tottenham Hotspur were founded in 1882 and own two of English football's landmarks: the first double of the 20th century, in 1960/61 under Bill Nicholson, and the first European trophy won by a British club, the 1963 Cup Winners' Cup. Their 62,850-seat stadium, opened in 2019 on the White Hart Lane site, is the largest club ground in London.

The 2025 Europa League, won 1–0 against Manchester United in Bilbao, ended a 17-year trophy drought, but the season that followed nearly ended in relegation: three head coaches, survival sealed on the final day. Roberto De Zerbi, appointed in March 2026 on a five-year deal, has been backed with a club-record £100m for Sandro Tonali.

The summer answered with intent: Sandro Tonali from Newcastle for a club-record £100m and Andy Robertson on a free, both into a spine that needed the help.
