About Pedri
Pedri left Tenerife for Las Palmas at 16, and Barcelona signed him a year later for a reported €5m base fee. He arrived in 2020 and played more games than any other Barcelona player in his debut season, then won the Golden Boy and the Kopa Trophy as Europe's best young footballer in 2021.
A ball-retaining central midfielder often compared to Andrés Iniesta, he has won La Liga and the Copa del Rey twice each and become the club's youngest player to 150 league games, past Lionel Messi. For Spain he was Young Player of the Tournament at Euro 2020, won the 2023 Nations League, and lifted Euro 2024.
