About Raphinha
Raphinha arrived in the Premier League on deadline day in October 2020, signed by Leeds United from Rennes, and quickly became a favourite at Elland Road. He scored 17 goals across two seasons of direct, high-energy wing play, and on the final day of 2021/22 won and scored the penalty at Brentford that helped keep Leeds up. Barcelona signed him in 2022 for a fee that rose to around €58m.
At Barcelona he won La Liga in his first season, then produced one of Europe's best individual campaigns in 2024/25 under Hansi Flick, who made him captain: 34 goals and 22 assists in all competitions, and 13 Champions League goals to finish joint-top scorer. Barcelona swept a domestic treble of La Liga, the Copa del Rey and the Supercopa de España, and Raphinha was named La Liga Player of the Season. For Brazil he has played at the 2022 and 2026 World Cups.
