About Spain
Spain are the record holders of the European Championship with four titles, and world champions from 2010, when Andrés Iniesta's extra-time goal beat the Netherlands in Johannesburg. The 2008 to 2012 side won Euro, World Cup and Euro back to back, the only nation to take three straight major titles.
A new generation, built around Rodri and teenage forwards Lamine Yamal and Nico Williams, won Euro 2024 with a perfect seven wins from seven, beating England in the Berlin final. Luis de la Fuente is contracted through Euro 2028.
