About Lionel Messi

By trophies and individual awards, Lionel Messi is the most decorated footballer in history: a record eight Ballon d'Ors, four Champions Leagues, ten La Liga titles, and in 2022 the World Cup that completed the set. He is Barcelona's all-time top scorer with 672 goals and Argentina's record scorer and most-capped player.

After leaving Barcelona in 2021 he won two Ligue 1 titles at Paris Saint-Germain, then joined Inter Miami in 2023, winning the Leagues Cup and a Supporters' Shield. For Argentina he ended a 28-year senior drought at the 2021 Copa América and lifted the World Cup a year later.
