About Lautaro Martínez
Lautaro Martínez left Racing Club for Inter Milan in 2018 and grew into the captain and focal point of the side. He has won three Serie A titles (2020/21, 2023/24 and 2025/26), climbed to third on Inter's all-time scoring list, and was the division's top scorer twice, in 2023/24 and 2025/26. He also reached two Champions League finals with the club, in 2023 and 2025, losing both.
For Argentina he is a first-choice striker rather than the captain, that armband is Lionel Messi's. He won the 2021 Copa América, the 2022 World Cup, and the 2024 Copa América, where his five goals took the Golden Boot. He was a runner-up at the 2026 World Cup, beaten 1–0 by Spain in the final.
