About Enzo Maresca

Enzo Maresca played as a midfielder for West Bromwich Albion, Juventus and Sevilla, where he won two UEFA Cups and scored twice in the 2006 final. He turned to coaching with Manchester City's development side, winning Premier League 2 in 2021, had a short first senior job at Parma, then returned to City as an assistant to Pep Guardiola for the 2023 treble.

He took the Leicester job in 2023 and won the Championship at the first attempt, which earned him the Chelsea post in July 2024. At Chelsea he finished fourth to reach the Champions League, won the 2024/25 Conference League and the 2025 Club World Cup, then left on New Year's Day 2026. Manchester City appointed him as Guardiola's successor that June on a three-year deal.
