About David Beckham

David Beckham is an English former right midfielder, the most celebrated crosser and dead-ball specialist of his generation. He came through Manchester United's academy, the Class of '92, and won six Premier League titles, two FA Cups and, in 1999, the Champions League as part of the treble. Wearing United's No. 7 he became a global figure before a 2003 move to Real Madrid, where he won La Liga in 2007.

He then joined LA Galaxy in Major League Soccer, winning back-to-back MLS Cups in 2011 and 2012 with loan spells at AC Milan in between, and closed his career at Paris Saint-Germain in 2013 with a Ligue 1 title, the first English player to win league titles in four countries. For England he won 115 caps and captained the side at three World Cups; his free kick against Greece in 2001 sent England to the 2002 finals. He is now co-owner and president of Inter Miami, and was knighted in the 2025 King's Birthday Honours.
