About Alexander Isak
Alexander Isak scored 62 goals in 109 games for Newcastle, 54 of them in the Premier League, after a then-club-record move from Real Sociedad in 2022. His 23 league goals in 2024/25 trailed only Mohamed Salah, and his goal in that season's Carabao Cup final against Liverpool helped end Newcastle's 70-year wait for a domestic trophy.
In September 2025 Liverpool paid £125m for him, a British transfer record, and he now leads the line in the post-Salah rebuild. Before England there was a teenage debut at AIK in Solna, a stop-start spell at Borussia Dortmund, and the 2020 Copa del Rey with Real Sociedad, the club's first in over three decades.
