About Mohamed Salah

Mohamed Salah defined an era at Liverpool. He scored 32 Premier League goals in his first season, then a record for a 38-game campaign, and won four Golden Boots, level with Thierry Henry. In 2024/25 he produced 29 goals and 18 assists, the most goal involvements in a 38-game season, and won the title, the Golden Boot and the Playmaker award together. In March 2025 he moved third in Liverpool's all-time scoring list, behind only Ian Rush and Roger Hunt.

Liverpool released him as a free agent in the summer of 2026, ending a nine-year Anfield era that brought the 2019 Champions League and two league titles; where he plays next was unresolved when this page was written. For Egypt he is second on the all-time scoring list behind Hossam Hassan, reached two Africa Cup of Nations finals, and carried the side to the 2018 World Cup.
