About Jamal Musiala
Jamal Musiala was raised in the Chelsea academy, where he spent eight years from 2011 and captained England's youth sides, before returning to Germany at 16 to join Bayern Munich. He committed his international future to Germany in February 2021. At Bayern he became the club's youngest ever Bundesliga scorer, at 17 years and 205 days in September 2020, and grew into the creative heart of the team, a left-footed dribbler comfortable between the lines.
He was voted Germany's Player of the Year in 2022 and again in 2024, the year he shared the Euro 2024 Golden Boot with three goals on home soil. Bayern extended his contract to 2030. In July 2025 a collision with Gianluigi Donnarumma at the Club World Cup left him with a fractured fibula and a dislocated ankle; he returned 196 days later, in January 2026.
