About Carlo Ancelotti

Carlo Ancelotti won a Serie A title at Roma in the early 1980s, then two European Cups as a midfielder in Arrigo Sacchi's AC Milan side. He moved into management in 1995 and made his name as a calm handler of dressing rooms full of stars, winning two Champions Leagues with Milan, in 2003 and 2007.

He then won the domestic league in each of Europe's big five: Serie A with Milan, the Premier League with Chelsea, Ligue 1 with Paris Saint-Germain, the Bundesliga with Bayern Munich and La Liga with Real Madrid, where two more Champions Leagues in 2022 and 2024 made him the club's most decorated manager. He left Madrid in May 2025 to become Brazil's first foreign head coach, took them to the 2026 World Cup, and signed an extension to 2030.
