Ronaldinho

Ronaldinho was the most joyful footballer of his era, a Brazilian attacking midfielder whose flair and vision made him the face of the sport in the mid-2000s. He rose at Grêmio, moved to Paris Saint-Germain, then joined Barcelona in 2003, where he became the world's best player, taking FIFA World Player of the Year in 2004 and 2005 and the 2005 Ballon d'Or.

With Brazil he won the 2002 World Cup, the 1999 Copa América and the 2005 Confederations Cup. At Barcelona he won two La Liga titles and the 2006 Champions League, and drew a standing ovation from rival Real Madrid fans at the Bernabéu. Later spells took him to Milan, Flamengo and Atlético Mineiro, where he won the 2013 Copa Libertadores.
