About Robert Lewandowski

Robert Lewandowski is one of the great modern No. 9s and Poland's all-time record scorer and captain. At Bayern Munich he broke Gerd Müller's 49-year-old single-season Bundesliga record with 41 goals in 2020/21, scored 15 in the 2019/20 Champions League as Bayern won the treble, and was named The Best FIFA Men's Player in both 2020 and 2021.

He broke through at Borussia Dortmund under Jürgen Klopp, then won a Bundesliga title in every one of his eight Bayern seasons. A 2022 move to Barcelona brought three La Liga titles and the Pichichi in his first year. When his contract expired he joined Chicago Fire in June 2026 as a free agent, taking his goalscoring to Major League Soccer at 37.
