About Zlatan Ibrahimović

Zlatan Ibrahimović is Sweden's greatest striker and one of the most decorated forwards of his era. From Malmö he moved to Ajax in 2001, then built a career that took in Juventus, Inter, Barcelona, AC Milan, Paris Saint-Germain, Manchester United and LA Galaxy. He is one of the few players to win league titles in four different countries: the Netherlands, Italy, Spain and France.

For Sweden he is the all-time record scorer with 62 goals in 122 caps, and he won the Guldbollen, the Swedish player of the year award, a record twelve times. In 2013 he won the FIFA Puskás Award for a long-range overhead kick against England. The Champions League was the one prize that eluded him. He retired in 2023 after a final spell at AC Milan and joined the club's owners RedBird as a senior advisor that December.
